10G Multi-Service Ethernet Switch (TC3850-1)

The JumboSwitch® TC3850-1 is a 10G Multi-Service Layer 2 Switch supported in a modular chassis design with 2 open slots compatible with JumboSwitch® interface cards. The TC3844-1 is designed for bridging Ethernet LANs over an existing T1/E1 telecom network, extending Ethernet networks by utilizing TDM Telecom infrastructure (i.e., T1/E1 Landline, or T1/E1s/SDH Microwave Carrying T1/E1), demarcation between the carrier’s and customer’s networks, and for bonded transparent LAN service.

Analog and Dry Contact IP Gateway (TC3846-6)

The TC3846-6 links or extends up to 4 channels of 600-ohm 2/4-wire analog and dry contacts across Layer 2/3 Ethernet/IP, CE, or MPLS networks. For cost savings and scalability, units can be ordered with only 1 or 2 channels of analog and dry contacts, and later expanded in the field to 2 or 4 channels.

Main & Management for 4U and 2U Chassis (TC3840-1 and -2)

The JumboSwitch Main (TC3840-1) and Management (TC3840-2) plug-in cards provide layer 2 switching functionality and the central switching fabric for JumboSwitch interface cards. Each 2U/4U chassis must include both a Main and a Management card to function properly.

Main & Management for 2U Chassis Only (TC3840-4 and -2)

Designed specifically for 2U chassis options, the JumboSwitch Main (TC3840-4) and Management (TC3840-2) plug-in cards provide layer 2 switching functionalities and the central switching fabric for JumboSwitch interface cards. Each 2U chassis must include both a Main and a Management card to function properly.

Main & Mgmt for 1U and 2S Chassis (TC3840-3)

The TC3840-3 JumboSwitch Main/Management “Combo” Card provides layer 2 switching functionalities and is the central switching fabric for JumboSwitch Interface cards. It offers 4 x 10/100/1000 Copper Ports and 2 x SFP Gigabit Ports for connecting up and down nodes to form a fiber/copper ring or bus topology. For the smaller 1U and 2S chassis options, a single Main/Management/Switch "Combo" Card is used.

G.703 / 64K IP Gateway (TC3846-1)

Typical applications for the TC3846-1 include extending G.703 circuits across IP networks and extending Teleprotection relays with a G.703/64K interface over existing Layer 2 / Layer 3 Networks.
