The JumboSwitch’s Modular design for network convergence of Ethernet, Voice and Data offers pay-as-you-grow scalability. Instead of one size fits all, the JumboSwitch offers 4 different chassis options that enable network managers to tailor network growth to their specific needs. Future proof migration, including 10GigE, is guaranteed.
The Management Card functions as the JumboSwitch’s central processing unit and the Main Card is the control bus access point for JumboSwitch management. There are two types of Main & Management Interface Cards: individual and combination. JumboSwitch 2U & 4U chassis options use individual cards and 1U & 2S options use the “combo card."
The AC or DC power supply cards for the 4U and 2U chassis are hot-swappable and located adjacent to each other on the front right-side of the chassis. Power supply cards are dual load-sharing and can be remotely managed. A single card is sufficient to fully power the chassis.
