Ethernet networks vary greatly in design and complexity and sometimes require special or custom solutions. Although TC Communications offers all popular off-the-shelf solutions, it specializes in custom products for specialized situations and environments. For example, situations could include:
- Multiplexing Ethernet with telephone, T1/E1 or Serial Data over fiber
- Adding an Ethernet link over an existing T1 or T3 circuit
- Extending analog phone service over a LAN or Ethernet network
- Needing long distances between nodes (e.g. up to 70 miles or more)
TC’s Ethernet products are available Industrial Hardened (-40º to +80º). That is, manufactured with special components, connectors and circuitry. This ensures reliable operation in the event of wide temperature swings, electromagnetic interference (EMI), radio interference, vibrations, or moisture and humidity fluctuations. Conformal coating is optional.
