The TC1705 Multi-Interface Fiber Optic Modem features modular, field-changeable interfaces to provide fiber communication for applications requiring high data rates and handshaking. It’s the ultimate "configure-it-as-you-need-it" multi-interface fiber optic modem.

The TC1705 supports a wide range of serial interfaces including RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 (2-wire or 4-wire), RS-530, V.35 and TTL. Interfaces are modular and can be easily changed before or after installation.

Applications

Because of its versatility, features and multiple interfaces, the TC1705 is often used to link a wide variety of synchronous or asynchronous devices to a central CPU in a campus or intrabuilding fiber optic network.
