Description
Featuring extremely low latency, the new Model TC3845
T1/E1-over-IP-Gateway brings another level of flexibility to IP
network connectivity. It transmits 1-4 channels of T1/E1, or any
combination, over Layer 2/3 networks in point-to-point or
multi-point applications.
Compact and simple to configure, the TC3845 achieves absolute
minimal latency (end-to-end processing delay) by using
high-performance buffering and forwarding technology.
Each T1/E1
channel is independent and transparent to protocols and signaling
that run over T1/E1. All applicable standards and line codes are
supported. For proper functionality, each T1 and E1 channel utilizes
6Mbps and 8Mbps of bandwidth, respectively.
Key features include Traffic Monitoring and Statistics, Network Time
Server (NTS), Remote Firmware Upgrade, and Temperature Monitoring.
the TC3845S also offers Rate Limiting on bandwidth utilization and
supports QoS for packet prioritization.
Setup, diagnostics, and management are accessed via Web, SNMP,
Serial Console, and Telnet. Diagnostics include LED indicators and local and remote loopback to assist with
troubleshooting and maintenance.
Power redundancy is standard. Both a high temperature version (-20°C
to +70°C)
and a extreme temperature version are available (-40°C to +80°C).
Standard configuration is a 1U high standalone chassis. Power
options are 12, 24, -48VDC or 115/230 VAC.
