TC8510 10/100 Ethernet & T1/E1 Fiber Optic Multiplexers

Irvine, CA----- Integrated T1/E1/LAN connectivity over fiber is cost efficient with a new Ethernet & T1/E1 Fiber Multiplexer from TC Communications. The TC8510 multiplexes one-to-four T1/E1 channels and a 10/100M Ethernet over single mode or multimode fiber. Serial data channels are optional.

The TC8510 supports distances to more than 100 km and offers a “one fiber,” two-way communication option to maximize fiber cable usage. Redundant power and optics are available and include automatic switchover features for maximum reliability.

The Ethernet port supports rate control and full 100Mbps bandwidth. Each T1 or E1 channel is independent and conforms to applicable industry standards. Setup, diagnostics and control is accessed via Serial Terminals, Telnet or SNMP management ports.

Typical applications include extending SDH/SONET backbones and adding Ethernet service to existing T1 or E1 fiber optic links.
