Fiber Optic Mode Converters/Repeaters

TC Communications offers the most advanced and comprehensive line of mode converters in the industry. Mode converters are used to convert multimode fiber optic cable to single mode, or vice versa, to connect various devices in Telephony or LAN communication environments. TC mode converters feature complete signal transparency, power redundancy, diagnostic LEDs and an optional Hi-Temp version (-20 to 70). They are compatible with PABX, 10/100/1000M Ethernet, Token Ring FDDI, ATM and SONET (OC1 & OC3).

TC Communications offers 4 unique mode converters:

TC3005 -	"Maxi" Fiber Optic Mode Converter/Repeater
	The TC3005 can convert wavelengths of 850nm, 1300nm, and 1550nm. It also can repeat signals up to 100km with data rates up to 200 Mbps.
TC3006 -	"MAXI" Gigabit Multimode-to-Single Mode Converter/Repeater (& vice versa)
	The TC3006 is a Gigabit version of the TC3005. It offers the same features and options, but with data rates up to 1000 Mbps.
TC3007 -	"Single Fiber" Multimode-to-Single Mode Converter/Repeater (& vice versa)
	The TC3007 is a mode converter with WDM technology. WDM takes advantage of fiber’s bandwidth by transmitting and receiving data through a single fiber strand. Capable of converting wavelengths of 850nm, 1300nm, and 1550nm, the TC3007 is designed for applications with data rates up to 200 Mbps and a distance of 50km.
TC3020 -	Low Speed Fiber Optic Converter/Repeater Series
	The TC3020 Series are mode converters that support Burst Data and distances up to 30km. The TC3021 converts 850/1300nm multimode and 1300/1550nm single mode, and it supports data rates from 30 bps to 1 Mbps. It requires units at both ends and converts MM to SM, then back to MM. The TC3022 converts 850/1300nm multi mode and 1330/1550nm single mode, and supports data rates from 1 Mbps to 10 Mbps. It is a standalone converter, and can convert from MM to MM or vice versa. The TC3023 converts 850nm multimode and 1300/1550nm single mode wavelengths and supports data rates from 1.2 Kbps to 5 Mbps. It requires units at both ends and converts MM to SM, then back to MM.
