Featuring extremely low latency, the TC3845-1 T1/E1-over-IP Gateway transports 1-4 channels of T1, E1, (or combinations) over Ethernet/IP Layer 2/3 networks. Key features include Traffic Monitoring and Statistics, Network Time Server (NTS), Remote Firmware Upgrade and Temperature and Power Consumption Monitoring.

Typical applications include transporting voice, video, and data across IP networks. For example, the TC3845-1 is often used to extend T1/E1 links between PBX’s, connect video conferencing sites, or link Cell Towers to Central Offices over existing Layer 2/3 Ethernet/IP Networks.

Simple to configure, each T1/E1 channel is independent and transparent to pertinent T1 and E1 protocols and signaling. The TC3845-1 supports point-to-point and point-to-multi point topologies and all applicable standards and line codes.
